iBev Holding, LLC Releases Sprisser, a New Wine-Based Beverage, Makes Debut at Donauinselfest 2016
New wine-based beverage, Sprisser, an upscale version of the traditional spritzer was created by expert vintners and mixologists. Three sophisticated flavors will be publicly introduced at Donauinselfest 2016.
Wilmington, Delaware – June 8, 2016 – iBev Holding, LLC, is pleased to announce the release of Sprisser, a new line of wine-based drink offerings, available to the public for the first time at Donauinselfest 2016, being held June 24th – 26th. Sprisser is so unique that a new industry drink category was created for it. Sprisser is available as a ready-to-drink carbonated alcohol beverage, flavored with all natural ingredients and crafted into a distinct blend by specialized wine artisans and mixologists.
Rooted in old tradition but with a new formulation, Sprisser is not a sparkling wine, cider or a fizzy spirit based drink. Instead, it is crafted from specially selected grapes from high quality Austrian vineyards, combined to produce a rich sophisticated wine base that is infused with natural flavors. After special carbonation, this new refreshing effervescent drink was created.
The initial flavor options with this release are Sprisser Classic, a traditional Pannonian style made of a rich blend of Austrian wines and hint of lemon, Sprisser Cosmo with notes of cranberry and orange, and Sprisser Wiener that incorporates a touch of vermouth and lemon. Those first to experience the new beverage line will be in Austria at public events including the UEFA European Championship Public Viewing in Aspern on June 10th, Donauinselfest 2016 held June 24th-26th, followed by the world’s largest Bodypainting festival in Carinthia, July 1st-3rd.
